Allow me to preface this post with a warning to all: What you are about to see iz not pretty...At the beginning of last week we were warned by local and national media of the impending danger of Hurricane Rita az it approached the Gulf Coast...Do we evacuate?...Do we stay?...Well, I'm sorry to say that we were remiss in our decision to stay az you can see by the horrible picture taken in the aftermath....what wuz once a pristine, if not downright Rockwellian abode, wuz obviously ravaged by the wrath of this merciless whore called Rita....Our prayers unanswered, az we cuddled in the closet, expressing our love for one and other between the tears and fear and the winds whipping violently about us....Continue, if you dare, dear reader....May God forgive me for sharing this Apocolyptic scene of destruction with you all:
